Empathy

I approach every individual with empathy, understanding, and kindness. My goal is to offer sincere care and evidence-based treatment as client’s navigate their personal challenges.

Respect

I honour the inherent worth of every person, regardless of age, gender, sexual identity, cultural background, race, or ethnicity. I uphold clients' autonomy, ensure confidentiality, and cultivate trusting, respectful relationships

Authenticity

I bring my true self to each session and encourage my clients to do the same. This creates an environment of genuine connection and trust, which is essential for effective therapy.

Therapeutic Approach

I take an integrative approach to therapy, blending different therapeutic modalities to best suit the unique needs of each client.

Drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and person-centred therapy, I tailor my methods to support each individual’s personal goals and challenges.

I emphasise empathy, active listening, and collaboration to build a strong therapeutic relationship, creating a safe and open space for clients to explore their emotions and concerns.

Inclusive Practice

My goal is to create an affirming and inclusive experience for everyone.

I celebrate the diversity of clients and strive to offer a supportive, safe space for LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, disabled, and neurodiverse individuals.

I am also deeply committed to promoting cultural change, advocating for a world where all people—regardless of sex, gender identity, age, race, ability, sexuality, or body size and shape—are valued and treated with respect.

Therapies

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

CBT is an evidence- based structured, short-term therapeutic approach that helps individuals identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

DBT is used to treat individuals with intense emotional dysregulation, particularly those with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). DBT focuses on helping individuals regulate emotions, improve relationships, enhance mindfulness, and create distress tolerance.

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT combines aspects of mindfulness and behavioural therapy to help individuals develop psychological flexibility. The aim is to encourage people acceptance of thoughts and feelings—rather than fighting against them or trying to eliminate them—while also committing to actions aligned with their values and life goals.

  • Schema Therapy

Schema Therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that combines elements of CBT, attachment theory, and psychodynamic principles. It was developed to treat long-standing patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving (called ‘schemas’) that stem from early life experiences and can lead to emotional and relational difficulties in adulthood.

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)

CBT-I is a short, structured, and evidence-based approach to combating the frustrating symptoms of insomnia. CBT-I focuses on restructuring the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that are contributing to insomnia. Therapy techniques involve stimulus control, sleep restriction, and relaxation training.

  • Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)

SFT is a goal-oriented, short-term therapeutic approach that focuses on finding practical solutions to current problems,. The central idea is that clients have the resources and strengths needed to overcome their challenges, and therapy aims to help them identify and apply these strengths to create positive change.
